Q: Last Year you held the event at the Grand Meridian. Why the locations change?

A: After much deliberation, we decided to move the event because of space requirements. The Liberty Hall has a spacious floor plan which will allow us room to accommodate our growing venue. It will also to allow us to provide more seating options for those who need it.


Q: I read that I can Pre-Swipe my credit card at check-in. Can you tell me more about this, and if it's safe?

A: This feature is available to us through our event software program and is completely SAFE. When checking in on March 20th, you will be asked if you would like to pre-swipe (pre-register) your credit card. WHY PRE-SWIPE? By pre-swiping your credit card you will be able to enjoy a worry-free, relaxed evening while bidding on items in our silent and live auctions, wine for wishes and other items with your bid number which, through our Auction Pay Software, will be linked directly to your account. There, the information will be encrypted and securely stored. Rest assured NO CHARGES WILL BE MADE TO YOUR ACCOUNT WITHOUT YOUR AUTHORIZATION. At the end of the evening, guests will be asked to verify successful bids and receive a printed receipt for purchased items. Your payment data is also protected after the transaction has been processed. Our software company, Auctionpay, is PCI (Payment Card Industry) Compliant. Auctionpay's technology and processes are reviewed quarterly to ensure PCI compliance standards, along with an annual on-site audit by a PCI-accredited 3rd party. That makes Auctionpay a Level 1 vendor, the highest, most secure level for PCI compliance. This feature will provide those guests who choose to utilize it a SECURED, QUICK AND EASY CHECK-OUT PROCESS. Please remember, this is optional. You may also use the standard check-out, which we will graciously accept cash, check, or credit card payment.


Q: Do you need to be a member of St. John Parish to attend?

A: No. In fact, we encourage you to invite family and friends.


Q: Where does the money go?

A: All proceeds from the Golden Ticket Event will go directly to Parish and School.


Q: Why have you increased the price of Gold Packages?

A: The Golden Ticket Event is a FUNDRAISER. There are many fixed costs associated with an event of this magnitude. Ticket prices are carefully determined after taking all of these cost factors into consideration.

With that said, the increase in price simply reflects the cost of the two admission tickets that are sold as part of the package (last year complimentary admission tickets were included as a first year promotion). The feature of this package remains the Golden Ticket Reveal, which is exclusive to the Gold Package. The amount of cash prizes have also been increased, which makes the odds of winning even greater!

General admission tickets are also available for $25 ea. through March 14th or $30 at the door. (*Gold Packages are $150 and are limited to 200 sold. They include: (2) $25 admission tickets and an opportunity to take part in the exclusive Golden Ticket Reveal for a chance to win $5000, $2000, or $1000 CASH!)
